Summer Plans SET
I figured I should do a follow-up to my last semi-depressing post. I finally know what I’m doing over the summer! Hurray!!! I’ll be interning in NYC in June and July! Currently looking for a place to stay in the area, so if you know anyone subletting/anyone looking for a roommate, hit me up! Thanks so much to everyone who prayed and encouraged me throughout this stressful job hunt! This period definitely taught me to be patient, and to be thankful even in times when things aren’t going according to your own plans. Remember that God uses both times of hardship and times of good fortune to work in us! In all times, go to Him, rely on Him, and meditate on the cross, for it is an eternal source of grace!
Thankful for this convicting line that has now come up twice in sermons at Devon this semester: “Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10)
Thanks again to everyone, and good luck to anyone else out there who is still job-searching! Be still! Just wait a little longer, and things will work out! They always do…
